11 Last-Minute Halloween Costume Ideas

Did Halloween sneak up on you this year? Are you struggling to find a costume before that Halloween party this weekend? Your favorite roofing company at the Lake of the Ozarks is here to help! In today's blog, we offer some quick solutions to your Halloween costume problems.

Ghost

You can never go wrong with the tried and true ghost costume! Grab an old white sheet, cut out some eyes and draw a mouth on if you choose.

Bubble Gum Machine

Head to the store and grab yourself a bag of multi-colored pom-poms! Glue them onto a white shirt and affix a 25¢ sign underneath the "gum balls." Consider adding some pom-poms to a headband to wear on your head.

Bread Winner

Grab a bright colored shirt and a fake medal, then carry around a loaf a bread and there you have it - you're the bread winner!

Smarty Pants

Grab an old pair of pants and glue on some smarties candies. Find a pair of black reading glasses or toy glasses, and wrap some tape around the center. To finish off the costume, attach a bow tie around your neck.

Crazy Cat Lady

Grab a bathrobe and attach some cat stuffed animals to it. Then do up your hair in curlers and you've become one of those crazy cat ladies!

Party Animal

Throw on your favorite animal print clothes, add some animal ears if you have a pair. Then run to the store and grab some party hats and party horns to complete the party animal costume.

Tacky Tourist

Rummage through your closet to find that old Hawaiian button-up shirt, or swing through a local thrift shop to find one. Find a straw hat or a floppy beach hat. Add a lei and a camera around your neck and your costume is complete!

Bulletin Board

Dress in a solid brown shirt. Then take a stack of post-it notes, write down a few reminders and to-dos, and then stick them to yourself!  Carry around some extra post-its and a pen so others can leave messages on you all night.

Movie Theater Floor

All you need for this costume is a black shirt and some candy wrappers! Glue movie theater candy boxes, candy wrappers, a plastic lid and straw, and maybe some napkins to your black shirt and there you go! You could even pop some popcorn and glue a few pieces of that to your shirt as well.

Spider

For any easy spider costume, dress in all black. To make the extra legs, get some pairs of black panty hose and add some stuffing from the craft department.

Grapes

Grab a bunch of either purple or green balloons and attach them to your shirt. Then add some greenery around your head for the leaves, and you're now a bunch of grapes.
