Join us next Tuesday night for the 5th Annual Totes for Ta-Tas event! Each year Above & Beyond Roofing owner Melissa Krokson helps with this wonderful charity event.  Purses, totes, wallets and more will be auctioned off all night long.  You will also have the opportunity to participate in a 50/50 raffle.  This is a fun night and great opportunity to support our local community! What better time to jump in the beautiful Lake of the Ozarks Waters than during the cold month of February!!  There is only one reason anyone would do that...the 2014 Lake of the Ozarks Polar Plunge !! If you haven't been to the Plunge, be sure to join the fun on February 22nd at the Lake of the Ozarks Public Beach #2!! The Polar Plunge is a fun event that is used to raise money for the Special Olympics Missouri.  Each participant collects donations and pledges as they commit to plunge into the icy waters of Lake of the Ozarks.  The event has brought more than 600 plungers and raised more than $200,000 in past years. Participants and teams come dressed to impress with wacky costumes or themes to entertain viewers and are encouraged by event organizers.  If you're not sure about taking the dive, you can still participate by donating online , financially support a plunger or coming out to cheer them on as they brave the cold!! Totes for Ta-Tas will once again have a fundraiser for the 4th consecutive year to help provide funds for local breast cancer patients Lake Regional Cancer Center Our mission is to support local women fighting breast cancer by providing things like wigs, counseling, transportation, childcare and other specific patient needs. This year, the event will take place on October 1st from 5-8pm at the Resort at Port Arrowhead in Lake of the Ozarks.   Admission is $20 and includes a drink ticket, heavy hors d’oeuvres and door prize entry!  We are looking for gently used purses/totes/wallets for our auction - If you have an item that you would like to donate, you can drop it off at Blinds and More, Lake Printing, Lake Salon & Spa, Bella Donna Salon, Mother's Shrine, Larry's on the Lake, Bryants Osage Outdoor or Lake Regional Cancer Center.   Be sure to Like Totes for Ta-Tas Facebook page for updates on the event!!
