Above & Beyond Roofing is proud to be a sponsor of the 8th Annual Totes for Ta-Tas at the Lake of the Ozarks. This event is one of our favorites to participate in each year. Owner Melissa Krokson has been involved for numerous years. Keep reading to learn more about this annual event that supports breast cancer awareness. About Totes for Ta-Tas  Founded in 2010, Totes for Ta-Tas is an event that raises funds to provide support to local breast cancer patients at Lake Regional Cancer Center, including wigs, counseling, transportation, childcare and other specific patient needs. In 2016, a check for $8,300 was given to the Lake Regional Cancer Center. Each year volunteers help gather and sort donated purses for the annual event held in October, Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Pumkin Chunkin Palooza is happening this weekend at the Lake of the Ozarks! This family-friendly fall festival was established by the 4 Lake of the Ozarks area Rotary clubs and their members. The event showcases how the clubs are working together to better serve the lake area charities, clubs and non-profit organizations. Above & Beyond is proud to be this year's main event sponsor! Event Details  Pumkin Chunkin Palooza 2017 will take place on Saturday, September 30th from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm at the Ozarks Amphitheater in Camdenton. Event activities include food vendors, craft beers, Missouri wine tastings and a largest pumpkin contest. Family events include face painting, a petting zoo, pony rides, bounce houses, corn crib pit, on-site pumpkin decorating and other kids activities. Totes for Ta-Tas is an annual fundraising event that Above & Beyond Roofing  is always a part of. Each year the event raises more money for Lake Regional breast cancer patients. The Lodge of Four Seasons will be hosting the 37th Annual HK's Hospital Benefit Golf Tournament June 5-7. More than $100,000 in gifts and prizes are available to be awarded during this 4-person scramble. Above & Beyond Roofing is a proud sponsor of this wonderful charity event here at the Lake! Tournament History  In the early 1970s, a group of community-minded, lake-area residents realized the need for medical services to treat existing homeowners and the growing second homeowner, retiree and tourist populations. At the time, the closest hospital was 50 miles away. Many people who suffered trauma, heart attacks or other serious health conditions did not survive because medical assistance was not immediately available. Harold Koplar, founder of The Lodge of Four Seasons, was one of the visionaries who believed the area needed a hospital.
