Spring Thunderstorms are Here

While you should watch out for major weather events, something as simple as a thunderstorm can also affect an already faulty roof. Spring is here and has brought this rainy weather along with it. Here are some facts about Thunderstorms and how you can protect your Lake of the Ozarks roof  from further damage this spring! What is a Thunderstorm?  Thunderstorms are produced by a cumulonimbus cloud, usually producing gusty winds, heavy rain and sometimes hail. The basic ingredients used to make a thunderstorm are moisture, unstable air and lift. You need moisture to form clouds and rain, unstable air that is relatively warm and can rise rapidly, and you need lift from either fronts, sea breezes or mountains.
