The 8th Annual Great Bagnell Dam Duck Drop is almost here! From the golf tournament to the family fun zone, this event has something for people of all ages to enjoy, while helping out the community. The tournament is a 4-person scramble with a Ladies flight. Entry fee is $125 per player. Looks like the Luck of the Irish is upon us as we gear up for the Lake of the Ozarks St Patrick's Day Parade!!  The weather is calling for sunshine and mid 60s as we kick of the beginning of the 2014 season!  So, get out and enjoy the parade on March 15, 2014 at 1:00 pm on the historic Bagnell Dam Strip. The parade always has a great variety of floats, motorcycles, boats, local business and of course, (if your luck holds out) a piece or two of candy thrown your way.  It's a fun day to bring the entire family out to enjoy the parade as well as some of the businesses along the Bagnell Dam Strip.   Be sure to look for the Above & Beyond Roofing Crew as we will be participating in the parade this year!!  We are excited to kick of the season and hopefully usher in the warm weather! Holiday festivities are in full swing!  One of our favorite family events is the Lake Ozark Christmas Parade.  This year marks the 29th year of this annual favorite that begins at 1pm on Saturday, December 14th. Lead by the Marine Corp League Honor Guard, the parade will depart from Hwy 242 and proceed down Bagnell Dam Boulevard to the Dam.  Following the Grand Marshall, Santa and Mrs. Claus along with their adorable elves will arrive via Santa's awesome sleigh.  Casper the semi-truck, lit with over 2,000 lights pulls the sleigh through the route as all the helpers through treats to the kiddos lining the streets. Many other favorites are expected to return again this year including the Corvette Club, School of the Osage Marching Band, various civic groups, dance troupes and more!  Santa will arrive at the White House following the parade to hear all of the wish lists and hand out stockings filled with goodies.  Like many events in the Lake Area...

It's time for the  Lake of the Ozarks Shootout this week!!  This is a great charity event that draws large crowd to the Lake to watch the largest unsanctioned boat race in the Midwest.  Official speeds of 208mph have been recorded in previous years.   The event has donated $100,000.00 to 22 different organizations in the Lake area!! Quack, Quack, Waddle, Waddle...the 5th Annual Great Bagnell Dam Duck Drop is almost here!! On Saturday August 3, 2013, the event will take place at the Bagnell Dam and and Dam Bait Shop Campground!!   Mark your calendar and bring the entire family to the event for games, prizes, Clydesdale rides, bounce houses, face painting, great food and so much more!!
