    My wife and I are looking into buying our first home, we found one we loved, but the shingles will need to be replaced. It looks like there's just 1 layer of 3-tab on there now, but I want to replace it with a 30 year dimensional shingle. Do you know if ice & water shield are required for a 8/12 pitched, straight gable roof? My friend told me it's not required, but I don't want issues later on down the road. http://www.sunik.com

    A lot of times we as consumers are so concerned with the various aspects of a roof system that we forget to value its appearance. Whether its slate, tile, metal, or shingle there are so many different styles, and colors available. This means that your home is only limited by what your imagination has to offer it. I used NYC Roof Repair just earlier in 2014 to replace my old shingle system with a new beautiful brown shingle system.
